Statistics is one of the leading branches in Science, with the special interest of Principal, Dr. D Giri, PhD in Statistics, the Department of Statistics was established in 2021, for advancing knowledge and learning, through teaching in Statistics. The Department offers B.Sc degree programme in Statistics with the combinations of Mathematics and Data-Science, imparts rigorous training and exposure to the students in computer education by way of introducing the latest state-of-the-art in the programming language and computer software to enable to the students to perform statistical data analysis.
