It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to Sri A.S.N.M. Government College (Autonomous), a distinguished institution established in 1968 through the generous philanthropy of Sri Addepalli Satyanarayana Murthy and the dedicated efforts of Sri Ch. Suryanarayana and Sri B. Venkata Raju Gupta. For about six decades, the College has remained steadfast in its commitment to imparting quality education, promoting social responsibility, and empowering generations of students from Palakol and the surrounding rural communities.
Located in a semi-urban region with a strong agricultural and aquaculture economy, our institution is uniquely positioned to address the educational aspirations of rural youth while preparing them to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century. Spread across a serene ten-acre campus, the College provides a conducive environment for academic excellence, personal development, and holistic learning. As a co-educational institution, we are deeply committed to women's empowerment and to ensuring equal opportunities for every learner.
Our academic programmes are designed to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical skills through restructured curricula, professional courses, National Cadet Corps (NCC) training with a Naval Wing, and a range of online certificate programmes. In addition, our co-curricular and extension activities, including the National Service Scheme (NSS), blood donation camps, Red Ribbon Club initiatives, and environmental awareness programmes, instill the values of social commitment, leadership, and responsible citizenship. The Jawahar Knowledge Centre (JKC) and Placement Cell continuously organize skill development programmes, career guidance sessions, and campus recruitment drives to enhance the employability of our students.
