The Department of Physics has been established since the inception of the college in 1968-69 with both degree and intermediate coursed. Presently the institution is offering 3 years under graduate course B.Sc. (M.P.C, M.P.CS). In the year 1996 college is bifurcated into Junior and Degree colleges. Then the college was affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. In 2006 the college is underwent NAAC accreditation and awarded with B+ grade. Now the college is affiliated to AdiKavi Nannaya University from 2013. The students trained here at different levels are occupying prestigious position in various fields. The Department of Physics is proud of its contribution to the world knowledge and providing efficient students to serve the needs of the society, our students are studious hard working and most obedient. The students are exposed to Guest Lectures, Class Room Seminars, Projects and Field Visits in addition to Class Room Teaching and Practical Training.
