The Department of English, one of the oldest in the College, was started with the Department of Languages, offered by the University in 1968, began the course in General English for the Graduation Courses of Arts and Science, prevails the prominence in the history of the college. With elegance and the engagement of committed team, the Department has achieved academic excellence. It projects ambience in the students by enhancing the analytical and imaginative literary skills. Dynamically the Undergraduate program in English is designed to provide strong foundation in literature to deal the challenges of the society and Communication Soft Skills is to enrich language skills to lead pleasant relationship with world. It is also intended to be visionary and fit in the dynamic environment.
