The Department of Economics was established at the time of inception of the college in 1968.The institution has been offering 3 years under graduate course to B.A at the time of inception the college had run intermediate along with degree course. *Introduction of B.A Course with (Economics, History and Political science) (TM) was commenced in 1968. *introduction of B.A new course (History, Economics, Special Telugu) (EM) was commenced in 2020-21. *The Department of Economics to Consider and approve different pedagogy in teaching and learning prescribed by CCE,AP.The Student Seminars,Projects,Guest lecture,field Visits in addition to Class Room teaching.
